Had a terrific time with pickle this weekend, The sun was shinning and the journey to london was the quickest so far,when we got to nanny's pickle wanted to change her clothes and go to feed the rabbits and the guinipig and play with floyd and meet maddy floyds sister who is staying with nanny for a while, pickle gave nanny a big hug and a kiss and told her how much she loves and misses her and nanny took her upstairs to get changed, pickle came into the garden and got the water bottles to fill the we got elli the rabbit out and she held and stroked her for a while then nanny told pickle Jacob was comming for a sleep over pickle was so excited she loves spending time with jacob, i went down to tesco to get tea and when i got back jacob was there, then karen and dick popped in with annabelle, pickle looked so happy.
The next morning pickle jacob nanny and i when to chessington world of adventures it was the firs day of the season it was open and the kids have been asking for weeks when they could go, it was another sunny day and although the park was busy it wasn't to busy that we had to wait ages to go on rides, we went to see some of the animals firs, we went in the monkey house where the cutest little monkes came right up to us to see if we had food for them then we saw the penguins and went in to sea life issy and jake put there fingers in thewater and the little shrimps came and cleaned them, tickleing there fingers while they did, then we went on the sky train and saw the lions, gorillas tigers and many others before having dinner, after dinner we went in the haunted house jacob had always refused to go in there before but today pickle and jacob both wanted to go in, and appart from one moment when jacob looked through a little dark window and a goblin jumped up witch mad him jump out of his skin they both thought it was fun. pickle asked me if i could win her a hello kitty toy by nocking down cans with a bean bag i managed to do it after five go's then nanny had a go and did it first time winning a meer cat for jake i dont think ill ever hear the end of that. it was a great day, and we are all looking forward to many more trips there this summer...

Missing pickle so much, only getting to see her every other weekend is so hard, pickle loves spending time with me and i love being with her, its sad that we cannot be together more, i spend a lot of time looking through photo's of fun times pickle and i have spent together remembering those times helps a bit when we are apart, i love you so much my angel X

I spoke to pickle on the phone today, it was so good to hear her voice, pickle is looking forward to friday when i collect her and take her to nanny's, pickle said she would like to go to Chessington and asked if jacob, Annabelle and grace could come, i said i would ask there mummy's, Last weekend was a long weekend because of the school half term so we had time to do lots of fun stuff, we went swimming with jacob Annabelle uncle richi aunty sarah and nanny,it was very busy as its half term, pickle loves swimming and we had a great time, after swimming we all went to the park, then we went back to nanny's and jacob had a sleep over, i didn't get much sleep it was like being in bed with 2 octopus :) next day we went bowling with jacob and sarah i think pickle and jacob scored more than sarah and i did, we went to kids space as well but jacob didn't come he was at his dads, so annabelle grace and karen came wow was it busy in there, the girls loved it, i was worn out by the time we left, only 2 days to go till i see pickle, i cant wait :)

Had another terrific weekend with pickle, it started at meadow hall with a spot of shopping at the Disney store i had been promising pickle a belle dress from beauty and the beast for quite a while so when she spotted one in the store the look on her face said it all, then we went to an amusement park unfortunately the rides weren't open but we still had fun looking at the animals and in the indoor play area then we saw that the merry go round was working so we got on it we pretended to race pickle said her horse was fastest, i took pickle back to the farm where i used to live so she could see sugar her white pony, pickle was so happy to see sugar she told me how much she loves and misses her pony, i hope one day ill be in a position to have sugar with me all the time so pickle can see and ride when ever she wants, then we went to Alton towers pickle was so excited to be going back but just like the other amusement park the rides were closed fortunately the hotel had a terrific swimmimg pool with slides and waterfalls hot tubs and wave machine also the hotel had a pirate theme weekend with party's face painting and dressing up 3 of pickles favourite things, when we got to our room pickle shrieked with delight wen she saw the bunk bed and asked if she could sleep on the top one as she climbed the ladder, of course i said, thank you daddy pickle said, after we unpacked i asked pickle if she wanted to go swimming she asked if i had brought a costume for her and i pulled out a bag with a new costume yay pickle said that's just what i wanted nickers and bra, her way of saying bikini :) so we headed down to the pool in the lift there was pirate music playing so pickle held my hands and we danced until the doors opened, we got changed and pickle put her arm bands on and we headed into the pool i started as i usually do staying close and trying to protect her from splashes wiping her face if she gets water in it, but pickle said, "i can do it on my own self" and i realised it was time to give her space my little pickle is getting more independent lol, it was so good to see and i felt so proud of my angel, we stayed in the pool for hours and when it was time to get out pickle wanted to stay so a little bribery was used, i had seen staff doing face painting for the kids so i asked pickle if she wanted to get her face painted she said yes and got straight out of the pool, we danced in the lift again both laughing as we jumped around we got a few funny looks as the doors opened as we where still dancing lol, pickle chose to get her face painted like a pirate it looked great and she loved it, we went for a walk round the hotel and spotted a shop selling kids pirate costumes so i got pickle one, after we had our tea we went back to our room to get ready for the pirate party pickle put on her costume and we headed in the direction of the music there was loads of kids dressed as pirates and some of the staff were to they were all dancing and jumping around so pickle and i joined in, it wasn't long till i saw pickle rubbing her eyes she was getting tired i asked if she wanted to go to the room but she said not yet, pickle had spotted a Lego pt and she wanted to build a castle, when we went back up to our room pickle was exhausted but still did a dance with me in the lift :) she climbed into bed and was asleep in no time, we spent most of the next day in the pool before heading back to Sheffield we stopped at mc Ds on the way and pickle told me she had a great time and loved me vely vely much, i told her we only had to wait a week and a half till i saw her again and we would have 4 days together as its half term her eyes widened and she gave me a big smile and a hug....

really looking forward to seeing pickle at the weekend iv booked a room at the alton towers resort they have a pirate theme weekend and pickle loves being a pirate, i cant wait to see her face when she see's them, last weekend was great fun jacob slept over friday night and we all went to kids space saturday and annabelle, grace, karen and sam met us there every one had a great time, i'm missing my picklelilly sooo much i need one of her big cuddles and a big kiss :)

MAYA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

As soon as pickle woke she asked if we could go to Maya's party, i told her we had a few hours before it was party time besides we still had to go get a present for her, yay pickle said, then she asked what are we going to get for Maya, i don't know, lets go to the shop and have a look i said, she gave me a kiss and a hug and went down stairs to nanny, when i came down pickle had finished her breakfast and was making a birthday card using a craft kit i had bought her it was pink and glittery with cute stickers on it, it was much nicer than one we could have got from a shop, i got pickle dressed and we went to the shops pickle chose a fluffy little whit puppy in a bag for Maya, when we got back pickle wanted to put on her party dress so while i changed her nanny wrapped the present, pickle put on a beautiful pink dress she looked like a princess, Liz drove pickle nanny and i to the party as soon as we walked in we spotted Jacob then we saw Maya and Isla and belle auntie Karen uncle Richie, pickle gave Maya her present and said happy birthday then all ov them ran to the play area and they went through the tunnels up the ladders and down the slides they dived in the ball bit with uncle Richie and threw loads of balls at him after a while a loud horn blew and it was time to go and eat the kids all lined up and made there way into another room full of balloons and yummy party food, they all tucked in and then Maya's birthday cake was bought out every one sang happy birthday and Maya blew her candles out, every one had so much fun that the time passed in a flash, it was time for pickle and me to go catch our train back to Sheffield, i thought pickle would sleep on the train but she wanted to watch snow buddies a film about puppies she sat on my lap most of the way back and we talked about the great time we had, I wish every day was like that,....

MUCHO'S FUN WEEKEND

Met pickle at the train station Friday and was greeted with a huge smile and a big hug and a kiss, pickle said bye bye to mummy and we boarded the train, we had the whole carriage to our self's so pickle could watch her DVD with the volume as loud as she wanted,we changed trains it London and had almost reached Nanny's, pickle was a bit restless as its a long journey and was walking round the carriage i decided to hide from her and jump out when she got close, as i ducked down behind the seat i bashed my eye on the window frame just as pickle got back to the seat there was blood running down my face so i quickly made a joke about it so pickle didn't worry i laughed and said silly daddy just bumped his head pickle laughed to and called me silly daddy, I'm so glad the sight of blood didn't upset her, nanny and Liz met us at the station we decided to head straight back to Nanny's so i could clean up and see if it would be necessary to get a stitch put in, when we got there i cleaned up while pickle and nanny when to see the rabbits then pickle got out her painting stuff and did some pictures, then i sat at the table with her and we did puzzles of Disney princesses pickle is getting very good at putting the puzzles together, we had pizza and dough balls for tea then watched Cinderella on TV when it was time for bed i read pickle the storey of Rapunzel and she fell asleep in my arms,
next morning Sarah and Jacob were round early to collect pickle and go to the cimela, nanny and i planned to take pickle to kids space after the cimela and we spoke to auntie Karen and Sam about going and they said they would come and bring Annabelle and grace to pickle was very excited about it, we all met up at kids space and the girls had a great time, its such a popular place there are always loads of kids there the girls were playing on the huge climbing frame while nanny Karen Sam and i had a coffee after a bit we got the girls to come back to the table and we all had lunch then they were off again i went with pickle and grace over to the go karts it was a long Que but they didn't mind waiting pickle and grace where racing some over kids round the track they both started at the back but over took the other kids and ended in front pickle loves rides she gets to drive on and i love seeing her having fun on them, it was getting late so we went back to the table pickle and grace where playing with belle in the toddlers section when it was time to leave we spotted pickle and grace but belle had disappeared we all went in search of her and finally Karen found her, she gave us quite a scare poor Karen was shaking, the girls all enjoyed kids space and I'm sure are looking forward to going again, we all said good by and pickle nanny and i headed back to nanny's, pickle played with her barbie dolls while nanny made tea , after tea pickle put her pj's on and we watched tv for a bit before heading up to bed it was still quite early but pickle wanted to get up in the morning to go and buy a present for Maya's birthday so i read her a story...
